Scrotal / Testicular Ultrasound

An order from your physician is required for this exam. A scrotal/testicular ultrasound provides images of the testicles and scrotal contents. Used to diagnose scrotal pain, swelling or masses.

To Prepare:

You will need to be able to transfer to exam bed with minimal assistance. You will need to remove your underwear and pants. A towel will be placed under your scrotum, another towel will cover your penis. You will be covered as much as possible for this exam.
